A month ago a new version of openssl has been released which fixed a security issue (CVE-2006-4339: 5th September 2006). In previous releases we received announcement notifications through the openssl-announce mailing list. This time I cant see it there. Instead I can find it within the openssl-dev mailing list. I would like to know, whether it has been sent via the openssl-dev list by an oversight. It is important for our team, to get security related vulnerability notes. Is it OK to keep our description openssl-announce or will I have to subscribe to other lists as well?
