I have installed the openssl windows binaries. I am using PHP 5 and OpenSSL
0.9.8b. I have moved both .dll files to the c:/windows/system32 directory. I
have created a self signed cert and key and placed them where I think they
should go (C:\OpenSSL\bin\PEM\demoCA).

Every time I uncomment out the openssl.dll directive in the PHP.INI file,
PHP hangs on rendering the page. If I re-comment the directive out, PHP.EXE
works just fine.

All I am doing is trying to open up an HTTPS address. I am not trying to do
the fancy real time cert creation or encryption. I am just trying to connect
to an HTTPS site using a PHP class called http.php from phpclasses.org.

Can someone help me? I have googled the hell out of this and can't seem to
find a step by step on configuring PHP5, Win Svr 2003 and OpenSSL.

Thanks for any help!!

Doug
