If you enabled SSL in apache, on startup random number generator must
be seeded ... rest you know :-)
But telling about RAND_screen() function, second part of it
(readscrean()) is not executed when process is run as windows
service. Configure Apache to run as service and there is a chance
that if hang occurs in readscrean() (which will not be executed)
this may work.
