For some reason, I removed the next paragraph...:

So apart from deciding if you want to have the FIPS code (0.9.7j) or
not, you need to decide if you want to take the consequences of an
upgrade to a more feature rich version (0.9.8) series, or if you want
to take the easy route (stay with the 0.9.7 series).
