I've now updated the build system to do that. So if you copy ms/_chkstk.o to the directory fipscanister.o is in (the one you pass to the --with-fipslibdir option) it will use that instead. Note that you only have to go through this entire procedure once. Once MSYS has built finscanister.o and friends you can discard everything else. Subsequent builds with later versions of OpenSSL just need you to follow the normal VC++ build procedure with the option --with-fipslibdir. Steve. -- Dr Stephen N. Henson.
