I want to use OpenSSL to parse mail that comes in to my program, but I will not always be guaranteed that the mail will be signed to encrytped. Is there a way for OpenSSL to parse the MIME formatted mail as well as the S/MIME mail? Or do I need to use something like gMIME to parse standard MIME and OpenSSL to parse S/MIME?
