There are some fixes in the 0.9.7-stable branch that need to be
released.  I'll see if I can make that happen soon (i.e. before
Christmas).  0.9.8 is still in development, and there are many issues
to solve there, among others what to do with the FIPS code from 0.9.7.

Other than that, when 0.9.8 is released, 0.9.7 will still be in
maintainance mode for a while, so there will most probably be 0.9.7
and 0.9.8 releases in parallell, just as there have been 0.9.6
releases in parallell with the 0.9.7 releases.

As of now, we haven't made a time plan for the release of 0.9.8 yet.
