Hi,
You should have a look at the product HP-UX
Internet Express at :
http://www.software.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=HPUXIEXP1111
This package contains many open source programs like openssl.
Now, it may be packaged with the sources and the "configure"
modifications to recompile these programs using the HP compilers.
Hope this helps.

Is it possible to build the OpenSSL libraries on HP-UX using "aCC" for
the compiler? If this is possible, what options do I pick for the
"Configure" script? If I take the default settings the script wants to
choose "gcc" for the compiler. The HP-UX operating system is B.11.00 A
9000/785 (ta). If I have to edit the generated makefiles after running
the "Configure" script please give me instructions.
I also need these libraries to be "shared" (i.e. "position
independent"). I can build the libraries on HP-UX using "gcc" but when
I try to link them in with my application I get a linker error
complaining that the libraries are not "position independent". I
didn't have any trouble building the OpenSSL libraries and my
application on Solaris, Linux, and Windows. Unfortunately, I have to
use "aCC" due to other library dependencies and therefore "gcc" is not
an option.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks...
