Sorry if this was posted twice,

I need openssl (just the crypto lib) for a project running in DOS and
started researching how to go about compiling for that platform.
First to get a compiler like Borland C++ 4.5 these days was a hard
task.

Now my problem is that defines and variables cannot be more than 32
chars, filenames has to follow the 8.3 length rule and things has to
be declared in the right order.

This task has proved to be almost more than I can handle. I am
currently doing a program to change the sourcecode to reduce var names
to a max of 32 chars, I have a feeling though that my struggles will
not stop at that.

Have any one done this? Is there an easier way? the perl scripts
available for configuring the package doesn't work!!!

If someone have a previous version that can compile I am also very
interested, I only need to include what the rsa util (from the command
line interface) needs, thus not the whole crypto lib.

Please help me, I am using the 0.9.7d version btw.
