Hi All,

I’m running STunnel in a production web server environment. I have
recently been experiencing crashes which I’m not sure to attribute to
STunnel or OpenSSL, as I am not that savvy as to where the two cross
lines. I have posted similar question on the STunnel groups before and
the developers were under the impression that it was an OpenSSL issue.

The Event logged to the windows event log (Windows 2000) is as follows:

------------------------------

The application, , generated an application error The error occurred on
04/08/2004 @ 20:09:01.937 The exception generated was c0000005 at
address 61DD5343 (lh_insert)

------------------------------

I know I'm running Stunnel version 4.05

However I'm not sure how to tell which versions of libeay32.dll and
libssl32.dll DLL's I'm running. I downloaded the following binaries from
the Stunnel site. Looking at the file size it seems like I'm running the
most recent versions.

This is what I have in my STunnel config.
03/23/2004 11:24p 1,539,233 libeay32.dll
03/23/2004 11:24p 626,301 libssl32.dll
03/23/2004 11:24p 1,134,080 openssl.exe
03/24/2004 01:45a 237 stunnel.conf
03/23/2004 11:24p 66,048 stunnel.exe
03/23/2004 11:52p 5,624 XXX.pem

Could someone please suggest a debug path, and perhaps suggest any
additional information that could help in the investigation.

Thanks
Warrick FitzGerald
