Hi All: I am new to OpenSSL and SSL in general so please bear with me.
We are running on a Linux platform and have a requirement to send encrypted transaction files to the Bank of Canada. The Bank of Canada supports only the use of Entrust Solo by thier clients to perform this encryption. Entrust Solo is a Windows only package. I have been lead to believe by an aquaitance that we should be able to use OpenSSL to perform the encryption and that I should contact Entrust and they should be able to assist. I contacted Entrust but Solo has not been a supported product for 4 years and the person I spoke with was not able locate any documentation that might be of any assistance. The support people at the Bank of Canada will only talk about Solo running on a Windows platform. So my question is: Is any one familiar with Entrust Solo and can we use OpenSSL to perform the encryption? If so, can you point me in the right direction to any available documentation? I have attempted several Google searches but without any luck.
