Typically, these trojans are dialers or spyware of some sort that install themselves when some unsuspecting person opens them. If you ever have one installed on you, you'll very likely start getting random popups to some Russian porn site. These trojans are usually base64 encoded installers imbedded in an HTML document, which many browsers - particularly MSIE - will simply decode and run. Exactly why I refuse to read email on any M$ system.

I downloaded that file for a closer look, it was not identified as a virus by Norton, unlike the trojan.
