I thought I posted this yesterday, but I don't see any trace of it, so I am sending it again. Apologies if it shows up twice.

I am attempting to install Openssl-0.9.7 on a Windows 2000 server. When it gets to the end of the mingw32.bat file, it runs into problems. I can't figure out which file it is unable to find nor what I should do about it. Could it be a problem with the perl or mingw installation ?

Here is the problem -

c:\openssl>mingw32-make -f ms/mingw32a.mak
process_begin: CreateProcess((null), echo Building OpenSSL, ...) failed.
make (e=2): The system cannot find the file specified.
mingw32-make: *** [banner] Error 2

Any hints on this ?

Bob
