Hi all.

I hope you all won't mind me asking this probably simple answer question
about certs..

I'm trying to generate client cert for my apache server, I've edited the
necessary parts in openssl.cnf but when I try and create the cert (from
previous steps generating keys etc.) i get stuff like this.

openssl ca -policy policy_anything -out newcert.pem -config
/opt/local/openssl/openssl.cnf -infiles new.pem
Using configuration from /opt/local/openssl/openssl.cnf
Enter PEM pass phrase:
Check that the request matches the signature
Signature ok
The Subjects Distinguished Name is as follows
countryName :PRINTABLE:'GB'
stateOrProvinceName :PRINTABLE:'Dorset'
organizationName :PRINTABLE:'Snetics'
UK:invalid type in 'policy' configuration

When i change country type to GB/whatever it still whinges about it.

Kindest regards

d,
