Hi all, I got my openssl 0.9.6g installed today. i am brand new to this so i am a bit concerned about the timeframe here.
I entered the command genrsa -des3 -out server.key 1024 and i got the PRNG not seeded problem. So I installed /dev/random Then I entered the command genrsa -des3 -random /dev/random -out server.key 1024 since dev/random is a data file & i know it is randomly changing. an hour later i still haven't been prompted for a passcode. is this a reasonable timeframe or am i doing something wrong?
