FWIW, every build I do of openssl on my machine (an AMD Duron 650), I edit the Makefile after ./config and change '-m486' to '-march=athlon'. I find this works well enough, but was wondering if there's any good benchmark of openssl performance as it relates to SSL/TLS (for mod_ssl) and OpenSSH.
