Has anyone tried to compile the 0.9.6g release with Windows 2000, Visual C 6.0, and the nCipher chil libraries? I've compiled it according to all the instructions and receive no compilation errors. When I run
>.\openssl speed -engine chil rsa1024 I receive the following errors: can't use that engine 2976:error:25078066:DSO support routines:WIN32_LOAD:could not load the shared library:.\crypto\dso\dso_win32.c:137: 2976:error:25072066:DSO support routines:DSO_load:could not load the shared library:.\crypto\dso\dso_lib.c:230: 2976:error:26088068:engine routines:HWCRHK_INIT:DSO failure:.\crypto\engine\hw_ncipher.c:400: 2976:error:2607E06D:engine routines:ENGINE_SET_DEFAULT_TYPE:init failed:.\crypto \engine\engine_lib.c:399: when I run ./enginetest it lists the chil library and finally completes saying "Tests completed happily". I don't think the engintest.exe really does anything much. openssl seems to work normally, but it cannot address the chil engine. I'm wondering if there is an incompatability with either Win2K or VC 6.0. Any ideas?? Thanks __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
