Hello all! I have recently downloaded and compiled successfully openssl-0.9.6c for Solaris 2.6. Or at least that is what the messages tell me. However, when attempting to compile openssh-3.1p1.tar.gz I get the following error:
cofnigure:7868 error: Could not find working OpenSSL library, please install or check the config.log I have tried using the sysconfdir=/opt/ssl <this is where I installed it from the tarball> but came up with the same results. I also downloaded the openssl-0.9.6c binary for Solaris 2.6 and still get the same error when compiling ssh. Has anyone experienced this before? Where do I start? Thanks in advance for the help! -- Aaron M.
