Hello,
I am very new to openssl and would like to use it as a prerequisite software to openldap. At present I don' t know yet whether I will use it for an ldap client or server on a SGI, should I succeed some day. I am having problems when using (IRIX)make or gmake with the named software. Make misses header files. Please see the attached reports. The first report was created before I installed the gmake program from the URL http://freeware.sgi.com/index-by-alpha.html. The second report (of 23rd Nov) was created after that installation. The errors have been the same. I don't know why I do not have those headers. A search on the whole system did not find them either. I propably must install another compiler related package first. I am also missing the "as" program. Who knows what to do or where to get the headers from? Also: Why is there the software package openssl-engine-0.9.6b? What do I do with that one? Should I install that before openssl-0.9.6b? Any idea is most welcome. Thank you. Regards Andre (See attached file: config_openssl-0.9.6b_19112001.script) (See attached file: gmake_openssl-0.9.6b_23112001.script)
