Hello.

This is my set-up:

Red Hat linux 6.0
Apache 1.3.20
OpenSSL 0.9.6a
Mod_SSL-2.8.4-1.3.20

When I try the following:

https://localhost

My browser displays the following:

Netscape is unable to locate the server keyword.netscape.com
Please check the server name and try again

If I try https://127.0.0.1 or http://127.0.0.1:443
It refuses the connection.

My /etc/hosts file is 127.0.0.1 localhost so I don't see a problem
there. I suspect the problem is in the CN ( Common Name ) when I make
the certificate. The only CN I can use is localhost(?). Is it being
resolved? Any help would be *greatly* appreciated! I could change my
hostname from localhost to something else ( how? ). This might
alleviate the problem?

Thanks,

-Caitlin Gibson.
