You need to remove the 5.0.2 libraries and install the Applicaion
Development Libraries and Linker from your 5.0.5 CD. Make sure you aply
all the patches. You will have major problems with out the OS and del
patches. You will also find that the latest verion of gcc is needed.
You can get gcc-2.95.2p1 from the SCO skunkware site.
I compile openssh and openssl my self. I have found some patches to
openssl are needed. You can find them on my site. ftp.zenez.com in the
pub/zenez/prgms directory. Good Luck.

This is related to your mixture of libraries and version. Get them all
to the same level with the patches as noted above.
