I've reviewed recent archives for this list, but haven't found anything
addressing my particular problem. I'm trying to install OpenSSL on a
Solaris 8 system as described in a SUN BluePrints article "Building and
Deploying OpenSSH on the Solaris[tm] Operating Environment"
(http://wwwwswest.sun.com/blueprints/0701/openSSH.pdf). The initial
configuration seems to work, but when I try the 'make' step, I get this
error:
sh: buildinf.h: cannot create
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `buildinf.h'
Current working directory /openssl-0.9.6b/crypto
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `sub_all'
Does anyone know what causes this and how I can correct it?
