gnuwin32> No, I did not have to change the sources, only some other files.
gnuwin32> In util\pl\mingw32.pl I added the option -fnative-struct to CFLAGS, and
gnuwin32> changed $rm='rem' to $rm='rm' and $mkdir='gmkdir' to $mkdir='mkdir'.
gnuwin32> Also, the alarm function is not standard on Windows, so I added it.
gnuwin32> Finally, in order to link the executables against the DLL's, I deleted the
gnuwin32> static versions and than ran make -f ms/mingw32a.mak again, after replacing
gnuwin32> in minw32a.mak the names of the static libraries by those of the import
gnuwin32> libraries.
With "the source", I mean the distribution that is found in
ftp://ftp.openssl.org/source/. Since what you describe above is part
of the files in those distributions, you have made changes to "the
source". Can I ask you to mail us the exact changes in form of a
patch or something like that, so OpenSSL itself can get better?
