I downloaded OpenSSL 0.9.6a, which has a MacOS folder in it. I had to do a fair bit of tweaking, and I'm still not getting all targets built; but I did get the "Roy's GetHPPTS" project running. I've successfully grabbed a couple https files, but the one compiled into the program <https://www.apache-ssl.org/> is not successfully retrieved. I'm pretty familiar with Mac programming, but I'm kind of a babe in the woods on Unix (and Windows). So I guess I have some broad questions, especially about the Mac project. Are people building it seamlessly and effortlessly? If so, that means that I'm doing something very wrong, because I'm sweating, trying to get rudimentary SSL connections functional. Are the MacOS projects kind of a work in progress lagging behind the work in the rest of the OpenSSL source base? Have other Mac programmers had to tweak miscellaneous file interspersed through the source code just to get Mac builds to complete? Thanks in advance for any pointers passed my way. --Bob ______________________________________________________________________ OpenSSL Project http://www.openssl.org User Support Mailing List [EMAIL PROTECTED] Automated List Manager [EMAIL PROTECTED]
