I use OpenSSL 0.9.6a on two UnixWare 7 machines (UnixWare 7.1.1 and NSC
7.1.1+IP) Didn't have any problems with the compile of it, but did have some
fun getting it to use EGD for entropy
Have a look at the thread with the subject:
random state, openssl.cnf and RAND_edg("/var/run/egd-pool")
If I have chance I'll give it a quick whirl on 2.1.3, but I'm not sure that
I'll be able to do it for a while.
What's the state of your UnixWare 2.1.3 installation as there are truck
loads of patches for it now as there are going to be no more versions of
2.1.3 done by SCO. Check out http://www.sco.com/support/toolbox/patch.html
to see what minimum patches you should be running.
Cheers
