I am looking for a consultant who is familiar with OpenSSL. The initial work would be to educate me about the OpenSSL implementation and help my plan what impact OpenSSL will have on my system design. There may also be additional work helping implement SSL in my system. I am building embedded system that talks to the outside world via a proprietary protocol (ie. it's not http) over a TCP connection. The embedded OS I am using has a ported version of OpenSSL. The other end of the TCP connection is a Win32 machine. I plan to run OpenSSL there as well to be able to talk securely to my embedded system. Sound crazy ? I am familiar with what SSL is and have read Stephen Thomas' book about SSL and TSL. However, I know nothing about the OpenSSL API and how to implement SSL in my code.
