Did you "make install" after compiling Crypt::SSLeay?
What does running net_ssl_test give you in the distribution?
Can you provide the URL that you are trying to connect to?
...
Should this not prove useful, set
#define DEBUG_SSL_STATE 0
to 1 in SSLeay.xs and recompile, then see what
lwp-request https://YOURURL give you and lets
see if that has anything for us.
Make sure to include your latest build output of Crypt::SSLeay
if we are having problems working this out. What server
OS did it work on for you, and what OS is this?
