Hi, I am using Openssl in my client, and Apache-ssl in my content server. I am using a test cert signed by verisign to authenticate my client. But my server is refusing it, using error 19: self-signed certificate. It is confusing because it is not a self-signed cert at all, but a normal cert. I sniffed the ssl exchange to see what was sent. And it seems that my client is sending the cert + the root CA, in the ssl certificate message. Maybe it is why then my server sees a self-signed cert. Is that normal? What can I do?
