I received the following error when I did the make certificate after compiling apache: 4038:error:24064064:random number generator:SSLEAY_RAND_BYTES:PRNG not seeded:md_rand.c:538: 4038:error:0A06B003::lib(10) :DSA_sign_setup:BN lib:dsa_ossl.c:214: 4038:error:0A070003::lib(10) :DSA_do_sign:BN lib:dsa_ossl.c:152: 4038:error:0D072006:asn1 encoding routines:ASN1_sign:bad get asn1 object call:a_sign.c:129: mkcert.sh:Error: Failed to generate certificate signing request *** Error code 1 make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `certificate' Current working directory /tmp/bilsch/apache_1.3.12/src *** Error code 1 make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `certificate' The box I am doing this from is a Solaris 2.6 on an ultra 10. I have not had this problem with the same src tree on my other servers, I am wondering if this is an error specific to this compile. My configure option for openssl was: solaris-sparcv9-gcc I am running gcc 2.8.1 the compiler used on my other machines is the same, they are just a different hardware architecture (ultra 2 versus ultra 10.) If anyone has any input, I would greatly appretiate it. Thanks, Bill Schwanitz __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get Yahoo!
