You might also need to add a "chain" / "intermediate" cert
Check out: http://www.verisign.com/cus/srv/install/g/
and follow the "Intermediate CA" link at the top. Get that certificate
and store it somewhere on your server.
Then go into your httpd.conf file, search for "SSLCertificateChainFile"
and let it point to your "intermediate.crt"
This is what I had to do (after a hint by Tony Villasenor, Thanks Tony),
to make our global-certificate work.
