Hello my good people who use openssl! I would like some help please! I have installed apache on my windows NT workstation. This is the file I have installed - Apache 1.3.12 mod ssl 2.6.1 openssl 0.9.5 WIN32-i386.zip. I configeured apache no problem I can view my sites and get the cgi working no problem. What I want to do is get the ssl part working so that I can make my web-pages secure. What I want to do (I think) is create a test certificate. I ran the openssl.exe and typed 'req -new' now what happens here is that it says that if cannot find the config file and tries to read a 'h:\' which makes no sense to me as I have no H:\. it tries to find a file called openssl.cnf. I cannot find any online documentation about how to make webpages secure with apache using open_ssl. Could someone please help me or direct me to some website that tells me how it is done.
