Hi folks . I have installed OpenSSL 0.9.3a and Apache_SSL 3.6 and am confused on creating certificates for it . i have a server named panther.xxx.xx.xx but i have the Apache server named www.Tiaxxx.com which i would like reflected in the certificate issued for name, do i have to rename the server to panther.Tiaxxx.com to be able to do this ? if so then this limits the secure certs. only one per physical server and not allow a different one for each Apache Server . Do i have this wrong .. (I hope so) Is there a guide to producing certs for Apache_ssl/Open_SSL .. I have two short how too's that are totally different methods of which neither do the job. I have been unable to understand TFM or i have been reading TWFM.. Is there a DHT that works for doing this . Cold Pizza to the one with a working answer.. Regards David When the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail. ______________________________________________________________________ OpenSSL Project http://www.openssl.org User Support Mailing List [EMAIL PROTECTED] Automated List Manager [EMAIL PROTECTED]
