Steven,
A Pass Phrase is the 'secret' that was entered when the certificate was built -
it must be entered any time the server is started up to open the certificate.
The error means that the server is waiting for the pass phrase to be entered;
which requires one of two actions:
1) Enter the pass phrase every time you reboot the server or start Apache
2) Remove the pass phrase via your SSL toolkit (may require the proper mail
list)
