www.thawte.com

They have detailed instructions for installing, creating, etc.
certificates for any platform. I don't know about a certificate server
for Linux... what purpose do they serve anyway? Validation of
certificates?

BTW - Thawte's instructions for generating CSR's on Linux using Apache
are a little outdated. They still work just fine, but you have to
replace any instance of "ssleay" with "openssl". Thats all.

One more thing. If anyone running on a Linux platform has had difficulty
setting up Apache with OpenSSL, RSAref, mod_SSL, and PHP (w/ MySQL),
then check out this url:

http://www2.photocomp.com/ssl_install/

I threw it all together just a week ago, so everything is up to date. It
will install everything for you with extremely minimal work (on a RH6.0
setup - feedback wanted on other distributions). Thanks!
