I found that channel_set_tcp_keepalives() is needed also in files sshd-session.c and sshd-auth.c (or maybe needed just in ssh.c and sshd-session.c, not needed and harmless in monitor_wrap.c or sshd-auth.c?). I merged your patches (with mentioned changes) into my 10.0p1 version (as distributed by Debian) and with my (Sebastian's?) zstd compression patches as per bug 2888.
