Which is absolutely true but nobody suggested to use Carbon in the 64-bit continuation, but the relevant frameworks. For all we know it may not even be possible to compile or run the viewer any more on OS X 10.12 or whatever they will call it (WWDC 2016 ) with the current codebase. First step is to completely decarbonate the viewer, and to convert it to a full-blown Xcode project so we can use the tools in an efficient way.
