With another round of Net Neutrality on the table today, the interesting part with HTTP viewer is the potential for interactive HTML5 video (i.e. youtube). I imagined immersion controls that appear while in Google Maps with the focus on street view of Linden Lab.
We have rendered overlays. It's that real-time window versus billboards that is the talk. Utility wise, that is Google's pegman versus SL avatar.
