Robert, thx for the info, but i think the page is telling me the answer is actually, "No," because i don't have any access to the company's network stuff. They look at you funny if you even ask about it. i can configure a test machine any way i want to, but i can't do anything at all at all to the network. How depressing :-(
Since it is for a real work project, i think i'll show the page to the IT guy, but i think this is just going to be another one of those funny looks experiences, and a "I'll get back to you later" that ends up being a not overly polite "helpful suggestion" from my boss.
