The problem with Snowglobe's implementation is that it saves the login info using the grid index number in the grids list, number which changes for OpenSim grids as soon as you change the grids list, resulting in messed up saved login info. I fixed this issue in the Cool VL Viewer v1.25 (which is based off Snowglobe v1.5), simply by using the grid name instead of the grid index number...
