People on forums have said they know where such behavior can occur, and avoid those places. Clubs, mainland sandboxes, etc. But you'd have to ask them.
At any rate, that's not particularly relevant here. Up until now no one has had any reason to be wary of an LL viewer. But now, someone could install 2.0 without knowing about the problems. In your example, it's up to the individual to protect themselves. But with the new viewer, there are no warnings, so blame falls on LL.
