I'm sure that almost everyone (all old users for sure) will like their UI more than the UI of 2.0. LL will not be able to take that code from emerald and use it themselves, because of the user agreement stuff. That kinda renders using an open source model useless. Can't benefit from using the GPL. And what about snowglobe? Can we take the patches from emerald and put them in snowglobe? I mean, legally we can (we are GPL-ed), but will LL allow that?
