Greetings Soft, I fully second Marine on this point, and will even add that as per the French Law (but also EU, and I think Canada), a company like Linden Lab is NOT founded in demanding personal data to their user unless it is strictly impossible for them to provide the service without the said info/data. Since connections to SL, communications between LL and the residents, and even the third parties viewers code publication are all achieved via Internet, it should not be required for any developper to provide their snail mail address like requested in the directory form: it brings nothing and is not needed to provide the service and/or to trace back the real person behind the avatar in case of violations (judges can for example require personal data form the ISPs based on the sole IP used by a person). As far as I am concerned I will not provide such info to Linden Lab as I consider it a breach of my privacy (call me paranoid if you want). Regards, Henri. _______________________________________________ Policies and (un)subscribe information available here: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/OpenSource-Dev Please read the policies before posting to keep unmoderated posting privileges
