Pardon me for asking what might be obvious to others but is not to me; why are folks upgrading production systems to Solaris Express regardless of version? If you plan to use Xvm until Solaris 11 ships with or without a replacement for it, why are you "upgrading" these systems in the first place? I would highly recommend following the release notes of the current and forthcoming express releases to get an idea of what we might expect to be dropped from the Solaris 11 mainline release. In the mean time, several sources suggest staying with Solaris 10 if you run production systems that require these features.
