That's how I read it too. But hey, if the AI install enables network installs 
and is designed for that and released under the same license, then what's the 
issue with building a bunch of non-production systems from it?

Exactly.  Anyone who has downloaded the S11e images should know that Oracle 
allows "multiple" downloads per each registered user account.  One download 
gives you one "program" which allows you to run on one machine.  One license 
per 
machine.  I don't see anyone could find fault with this.
