A Server OS like Solaris/ OpenSolaris is not something like Ubuntu to have a 6 month cycle release. Even if you compare it with Ubuntu you should compare it with LTS releases and not intermediate ones. Please stop posting things you have no idea about. OpenSolaris with its current feature set can be used in production for years.
