It is in nature of free software to have a license that assures its existence, not allowing it to become closed proprietary after few years or unmanageable pile of differently licensed parts that war with each other. CDDL has that too, like GPL it stays forever free, you can not use code to close it down: that would be stealing. Therefore i see your question as mostly open source unfriendly in general.
