May not be the same board but I use this : http://us.shuttle.com/barebone/Models/X27D.html on two systems with opensolaris: :~$ uname -a
SunOS neo.lab.henoc.com 5.11 snv_127 i86pc i386 i86pc Solaris :~$ psrinfo 0 on-line since 01/18/2010 11:05:55 1 on-line since 01/18/2010 11:05:57 2 on-line since 01/18/2010 11:05:57 3 on-line since 01/18/2010 11:05:57 And what I can say is, they are great, I have an SSD drive as well, and they boot really fast. Of course for storage I have a Dlink DNS323 runing Linux and With a hack so I can loggin. I just wish there was an ARM : Opensolaris I could load on this system with ease. Out of the two ATOM based servers, one runs a little hotter than the other, I've at the BIOS and still do not know why it is this way. My only complain is an error message that keeps repeating: Jan 29 13:30:23 neo.lab.henoc.com acpica: [ID 545716 kern.notice] ACPI Error (psparse-0633): Method parse/execution failed [\RTMP] (Node ffffff014736f338), AE_NOT_FOUND Jan 29 13:30:23 neo.lab.henoc.com acpica: [ID 740063 kern.notice] ACPI Error (psparse-0633): Method parse/execution failed [\_TZ_.THRM._TMP] (Node ffffff014736f068), AE_NOT_FOUND But other than that I'm happy: I maintain my infrastructure on it: Tomcat, Apache2, Postgresql, Bind, sendmail , Openldap... no problem. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list
