Ok, I'm confused by that... I was under the impression (I'm pretty
illiterate about zfs still) that a raidz1 needed only about 20 % more
space for parity data.  Something I thought I remembered from reading
`Simons Blog on zfs but not sure where now:

 (Somewhere in of those articles I think)  

  But would a mirror setup not need 100% more space?
