There are several others of us following this thread, VERY interested to know
the results.
For instance, I have had to resort to installing an Addonics IDE-CF adaptor
("ADIDECF-N") that goes into a back bay (like a card slot) plugged into the IDE
cable, and using a Ritech 8gb UDMA CF card, setting the up as drive C: - Ritech
makes a CF card that is write-protected. At least Solaris recognizes drive C:
But I can only do this on a new computer where I have the liberty to establish
a CF as a drive C: I am most interested in getting all the information
possible on your project, so please keep the postings going in this thread for
the benefit of the community.
