> Can SUN not even do that? I'm amazed. Basically the answer to your question is yes, they can not do that (yet). There aren't enough people working on the software to make every ideal thing happen. Even linux distros took a long time to get the features you mentioned. Only Microsoft has all the modern graphical stuff people want, because only Microsoft has the resources and the drive to make it happen. Even with more money added you might not find Solaris with a modern GUI, simply because the culture behind it is not one that values the GUI as much as say, the Windows culture.
